This Sunday I exhibited at The 31st Annual Town of Mount Pleasant Blessing of the Fleet & Seafood Festival at the Waterfront Pier and Park. The festival pays tribute to Mount Pleasant’s local shrimping and fishing industry. There was a boat parade, live music and a tent for the Mount Pleasant Artists Guild, where I had 2 pieces on display.

What a busy event! Luckily the weather was perfect and the crowd enjoyed a wonderful day at the park. I was happy to show once again with the Artists Guild and was pleased to see a kid telling his parents my painting was his favorite!

The boats were all “dressed up” for the parade. It was pretty cool seeing them come by the pier, where someone at the mic would tell the crowd about their history. It was very busy and I couldn’t quite get to a good spot for pictures, but I am hoping I got enough material to work on a painting or two inspired by this event.
